The College of Engineering Embarks on the Digital Transformation Journey through QR Systems

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and in collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education, the College of Engineering and Information Technology participated in the training workshop “A Journey to Automated Systems”, presented by Assistant Lecturer Fatima Samir, Head of the E-Management Unit at the College of Education, held in Al-Kawthar Hall for Continuing Education.

The delegation from the College, including department heads, coordinators, and academic and administrative staff, attended the workshop to explore the mechanisms of the electronic attendance system (QR) used in the College of Education and to learn about the potential for converting paper records into a fully automated electronic system, allowing faster execution and greater transparency in daily procedures.

This step reflects the College’s ongoing efforts to keep pace with digital transformation developments and its commitment to creating a more efficient work environment based on automation while reducing traditional manual processes.
