#InPhotos: The Dean of the College of Engineering participates in the activities of the College of Health and Medical Technologies as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to promote a culture of entrepreneurship within universities, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Professor Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, participated in the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, organized by the College of Health and Medical Technologies as part of its entrepreneurial initiatives for students.

A delegation from the College of Engineering, headed by its Dean, toured the event’s sections, where she reviewed student projects and entrepreneurial ideas presented by the scientific departments, including Anesthesia, Physiotherapy, Clinical Nutrition, and Radiology. She expressed her support and encouragement to the participating students, emphasizing the importance of exchanging expertise and fostering interaction among colleges to enhance the spirit of innovation within the university.

The event was attended by the University President, the Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Jidou, and the Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Associate Professor Dr. Hassan Baqir Al-Qazzaz, along with deans, department heads, and a number of administrative and academic staff members. It also witnessed wide participation from students who presented practical models and projects that enrich the path of entrepreneurship and innovation.

This participation comes in support of advancing entrepreneurship within the university, strengthening academic collaboration among colleges, and highlighting the role of students in presenting innovative ideas and projects that serve the community and align with the university’s future vision.
