In a strategic move to foster new linguistic skills and enrich the academic environment, the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies, specifically the Department of Anaesthesia Techniques, in collaboration with the Department of Continuing Education at ZUW, organised a specialised training course on the fundamentals of the Persian language. The programme was designed for the University’s academic and administrative staff.
The said course was delivered by Asst. Lect. Wala' Abd Al-Karim Ja'far and Asst. Lect. Khadija Sabeeh Mohan University lecturers . Additionally, the curriculum covered several key areas, including the instruction of essential high-frequency vocabulary, as well as the technical skills of reading and writing. Furthermore, the lecturers provided a historical overview of the Persian language, tracing its evolution and the linguistic developments it has undergone over time.
It bears noting that spanning four days with a total of eight instructional hours, the course was characterised by a highly enthusiastic atmosphere and proactive engagement from all participants.
