Conclusion of the “Using Email and Cloud Storage” Course at the College of Engineering
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahra University for Girls, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Malla, and in collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education, the course “How to Use Email and Cloud Storage” was successfully concluded. The course was delivered by Dr. Hussein Ali Hussein, a faculty member in the Department of Artificial Intelligence.
On the first day, the course covered the fundamentals of email usage, including creating accounts, sending and receiving messages, attaching files, and organizing the inbox, in addition to introducing the key rules for formal electronic correspondence. The second day focused on managing digital files, including methods for storing, organizing, and sharing them among users.
The third day emphasized cloud storage, explaining its concept, distinguishing it from traditional storage, and introducing popular services such as Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. The session also addressed automatic backups, digital security and privacy basics, and the risks of sharing data without awareness, contributing to the development of a safe digital culture that supports academic and professional requirements.
