On the sidelines of the activities of the International Cultural Festival of Spring of Martyrdom, the University welcomed an academic delegation from the Republic of Turkey. This official visit aimed at exploring the University’s academic and educational environment and becoming acquainted with the projects of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, particularly those related to scientific and educational fields.

The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the President of the University, who managed to shed light on the significance of the visit in broadening horizons for scientific cooperation and in establishing effective academic relations with international educational institutions. During the meeting, she presented an overview of the University’s academic journey, its development plans, academic programmes, and its strategic vision for advancing the quality of higher education and strengthening women’s participation in academic and research domains.

The visit concluded with a field tour of several key University facilities, during which the delegation visited the central library, scientific laboratories, and advanced infrastructure. Furthermore, the visiting delegation expressed their deep appreciation for the high level of academic planning and organisation they observed, commending the integrated University environment and modern facilities, and praising the scientific and intellectual role played by the University in the development of the educational process.
