In the framework of strengthening scientific cooperation and fostering academic openness among Iraqi universities, the College of Education at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women has concluded a scientific twinning agreement with the College of Education at the University of Kufa. The agreement brings together the Department of Sciences of Nahj al-Balagha and Islamic Education and its counterpart, the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education.
The agreement was signed by the Deans of both colleges, Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiyya, representing the college of education at Al-Zahraa University for Women, and Prof. Dr. Sirwan Abdul-Zahra Hashim Al-Janabi, representing the College of Education at the University of Kufa, in the presence of a number of faculty members from both sides.
The agreement aims to consolidate joint academic collaboration through the exchange of expertise, the organization of shared scholarly activities—including conferences, seminars, and workshops—as well as coordination in research fields and curriculum development in ways that enhance the academic standards of both students and faculty.
This step aligns with the College of Education’s strategy to build effective academic partnerships with reputable educational institutions, thereby promoting the quality of education and advancing scholarly endeavors in Islamic studies and Qur’anic sciences.
