Al-Zahraa University for Women welcomed an academic delegation from Imam Reza International University in the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by Mr. Ali Akbar Tabataba’i, accompanied by a number of bachelor and master’s students in scientific and humanities disciplines. The visit took place within the framework of strengthening scientific cooperation and consolidating academic relations between the two universities.
The delegation was received by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, along with members of the senior staff. Discussions emphasized the importance of such academic visits in fostering institutional communication and promoting the exchange of expertise between higher education institutions.
The visit aimed to explore the University’s academic departments, laboratories, infrastructure, and available research capabilities, as well as the academic standards and scholarly environment that distinguish the institution.
The program also included an introductory lecture outlining the University’s establishment, its faculties, and academic departments, in addition to a presentation on the Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research and its scientific and research activities.
This visit comes within the broader context of enhancing academic coordination and communication between the two universities, opening avenues for joint scientific and research collaboration, and supporting the educational journey in alignment with the aspirations of higher education and the accelerating demands of scientific advancement.
