Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, the Women’s Affairs Division organised a scientific workshop entitled “Emotional Intelligence and the Development of Self-Confidence.” The said event was held in cooperation with the University Psychological Guidance Division and the Centre for Continuing Education, and was delivered by Lect. Dr. Nasreen Ali Al-Jilawi and Lect. Dr. Haifa Mahmoud Al-Ashqar.

The workshop aimed to enhance psychological awareness and to develop personal competencies, particularly those related to understanding and managing emotions and fostering self-confidence. Additionally, such competencies contribute to psychological stability and promote improved academic and social performance.

This initiative comes as part and parcel of a broader series of scientific and advisory activities regularly organised by the University, in alignment with its mission to support female students both academically and psychologically, and to cultivate well-balanced University personalities.
