The presidency of Al-Zahraa University held an extensive meeting, chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, with the senior staff, to discuss strategies for developing academic performance and enhancing strategic partnerships with with relevant organizations.

The meeting included a distinguished group of representatives from governmental and service institutions, including: the Iraqi Ministry of Health / Karbala Health Directorate, the Technical Education and Health Authorities affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam-Hussain, as well as the Babil Governorate Council and the Karbala Education Directorate.

Discussions focused on several strategic areas, including identifying the essential skills and knowledge graduates must possess to ensure their effective and responsible integration into the labor market. The meeting also reviewed ways to develop academic programs to align with rapidly evolving global professional and technological trends.

The importance of involving relevant institutions in reviewing and updating curricula was also highlighted, emphasizing their role in providing accurate feedback on students’ and graduates’ performance. This contributes to continuous assessment and qualitative improvement of the educational process. Additionally, the meeting explored methods for activating sustainable communication channels through modern scientific tools, such as periodic surveys and opinion polls, enabling the creation of a reliable database to support evidence-based developmental decisions.

The University leadership reaffirmed its commitment to building strategic partnerships with various governmental and service institutions, developing practical training for students, and promoting academic and professional advancement all within the framework of applying institutional accreditation standards.
