The Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, participated in the regular meeting of the Council of Al-Zahraa University for Women, chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and attended by council members and senior academic staff. The meeting addressed a range of strategic issues related to advancing the university’s academic development.

The agenda included discussions on proposals for establishing new academic specializations within the 2026–2027 academic plan, as well as broader directions aimed at enhancing academic standards and improving the quality of educational programs across various colleges, in alignment with labor market requirements and national higher education priorities.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of adhering to quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, and activating continuous improvement plans. These efforts aim to strengthen the educational environment, enhance academic outcomes, and reinforce the university’s role in preparing qualified graduates capable of meeting societal needs.
