As part of its continuous efforts to enhance its academic and cultural presence and to develop students’ skills in scientific dialogue and critical thinking, Al-Zahraa University participated in the Third Iraqi Universities Arabic Debate Competition, organized by the Department of Private University Education / Student Activities Division, and hosted by the Iraqi University via the Zoom platform.
The competition witnessed the participation of several public and private Iraqi universities, aiming to strengthen students’ dialogue and critical thinking skills, as well as to provide a platform for exchanging experiences among participants from various academic institutions.
The University was represented by a diverse group of students from different faculties and academic departments, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department.
The participating students demonstrated an outstanding academic performance, showcasing well-structured arguments, effective communication, and the ability to engage in purposeful and balanced discussions. Their performance reflected the high level of academic preparation emphasized by the University.
The University Presidency affirmed that supporting such scientific initiatives is an essential part and parcel of its strategic vision, which aims to prepare capable and well-rounded female graduates who can actively contribute to society and keep pace with the demands of scientific and intellectual advancement.
