Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women secured first place at the conclusion of the 9th edition of the “Intellectual Challenge” competition, organized by Resalat Al-Noor Humanitarian Foundation. The event was held in a competitive academic atmosphere aimed at enhancing students’ intellectual skills and developing their academic abilities.

The final round took place at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, which hosted the event in a distinguished academic setting that reflected its commitment to supporting scientific and cultural activities and promoting a spirit of positive competition among universities.

The university was represented by a team comprising three students from the College of Education and one student from the College of Pharmacy, under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiya. The team delivered an outstanding academic performance throughout the competition stages, demonstrating a high level of knowledge, quick response, and accuracy in answering questions, which qualified them for the final round and ultimately secured first place.

In the final round, Al-Zahraa University’s team outperformed their counterparts from the University of Kufa after a strong performance across all stages of the competition, earning first place with merit and distinction.

In this context, the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, expressed her pride in this achievement, affirming that this success reflects the university’s continuous academic support and its dedication to developing students’ skills and refining their scientific capabilities.

This victory further strengthens Al-Zahraa University’s presence in academic forums and highlights the active role of the College of Education in supporting academic excellence and intellectual competitions.
