Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, the Faculty of Education in collaboration with the Centre for Continuing Education, organised a scientific workshop entitled “Journey into Scopus Databases”. The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiya, Dean of the Faculty, and held at Al-Kawthar Centre for Continuing Education.
The workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of Scopus databases, highlighting the significance of utilising international indexing platforms in evaluating scientific research, as well as offering guidance on how to identify predatory journals.
The said event was directed towards researchers and faculty members of the Faculty, affirming the University’s commitment to supporting the publication of scholarly work in reputable academic journals.
