Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Al-Khafaji, and as part of ongoing efforts to support academic skills and enhance students’ capabilities, two first-year students from the Department of Cosmetology and Laser Technologies, Maryam Uday Abdul Hussein and Sara Wahaj Mohammed, organized a scientific workshop for first-year students from the course Skin and Hair Biology.
The workshop covered a range of topics related to skin and hair care from a modern scientific perspective. It was conducted under the supervision of the course instructor, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Fadel Shannan, and demonstrated an outstanding level of academic performance by the students in presentation, analysis, and discussion. This reflected their strong understanding of the course content and their ability to effectively integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application.
This workshop represents an important step toward strengthening both the practical and academic dimensions of learning, preparing students with the knowledge and skills required in their field, and contributing to the development of their academic capabilities and the overall enhancement of scientific performance within the department.
