The Council of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Zahraa University for Women held its seventh meeting, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Khafaji, with the attendance of all council members.
At the opening of the session, the Dean welcomed the attendees and commended the efforts of the council members, as well as the academic and administrative staff, in advancing the College’s academic and administrative performance. He emphasized the importance of continued collaboration and shared responsibility in achieving the College’s goals and academic mission.
During the meeting, the Council addressed several items on the agenda. The first item focused on directives from the University President regarding the provision of humanitarian support to the brotherly peoples of Iran and Lebanon, highlighting the importance of fostering values of solidarity and social responsibility among the College’s staff and students.
The second item covered a range of academic and administrative directives. Council members reviewed the progress of monthly examinations for all study levels beyond the first year, stressing the need for proper organization and smooth implementation to ensure the efficiency and integrity of the educational process.
Regarding student affairs, the Council discussed, under the fourth item, the issue of student absences and mechanisms for their regulation. Emphasis was placed on preparing formal undertakings for absent students across all stages and departments, with the aim of promoting attendance commitment and maintaining academic standards.
At the conclusion of the session, the Council issued a number of decisions and recommendations related to the discussed items, in alignment with current requirements and in support of the College’s academic and administrative development.
