The Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Zahraa University for Women organised a charity bazaar in collaboration with the Warith Fund, with the active participation of female students as well as academic and administrative staff. The said event aligns with its humanitarian and social mission to support underprivileged groups.

This initiative comes as part and parcel of a broader series of activities consistently undertaken by the University to cultivate a spirit of generosity and social responsibility among its female students, while promoting a culture of humanitarian solidarity. It further seeks to support community-oriented initiatives, particularly those benefiting orphans and cancer patients.

The bazaar featured a diverse range of products and handcrafted items created by the female students, reflecting their creativity and skills across various domains. It goes without saying that the organisers confirmed that all proceeds from the event will be allocated entirely to supporting orphans and cancer patients through the Warith Fund (Alif for Giving), thereby demonstrating the University’s firm commitment to its societal and humanitarian role.

It is worth mentioning that such initiatives underscore the University’s dedication to embedding humanitarian values as an integral component of the educational process, grounded in the belief that meaningful education extends beyond academic achievement to encompass active community engagement and the development of socially responsible individuals capable of contributing to humanitarian endeavours.
