Al-Zahraa University (pease be upon her) for Women participates in an art exhibition for the third version of Kawthar Al-Isma International Festival
Under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (Peace be upon him), Al-Zahraa University for Women hosted the opening ceremony of the third version of Kawthar Al-Isma International Festival, today, Wednesday, 3/1/2024, at the Um Abiha Hall. That ceremony was devoted exclusively to the participation of women in the festival. The President of Al-Zahraa University for Women in Kerbala (Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani), the President of Al-Zahraa University in Tehran (Prof. Dr. Zahraa Nazim Bakai), the Director General of the National Department of Women in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and many active women leaders were among those who attended the festival. Several activities were presented in the ceremony, including: the recital of selected verses of the Holy Quran and a statement delivered by the President of the Festival, followed by an introductory video film on the institutions of the holly Shrine of Imam Hussein and the role of women in its administration. A religious hymn was presented by the female singing group of the Holly Shrine came just before a play depicting the life of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her). Poetry recital preceded the final conclusion of the ceremony which was culminated by honoring the mothers of martyrs, former female prisoners and female entrepreneurs.
