The Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, along with administrative and academic staff and students, participated in an educational awareness lecture organized by Al-Zahraa University for Women in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior – Directorate of Relations and Media / Minister’s Office. The lecture was titled: “Youth: A Journey Between Growth, Breakdown, and Deviation,” and was held under the patronage of the General Secretariat of the Holy Al-Hussaini Shrine and supervised by the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani.
The participation of the College of Engineering came as part of its commitment to enhancing students’ intellectual and behavioral awareness, and its openness to activities that address youth-related issues through psychological, social, cultural, and security perspectives.
The lecture was delivered by Major Ali Mohsen Jassim and included an analysis of the challenges facing young people, as well as ways to promote constructive pathways and reinforce moral and national values.
Students of the college actively engaged with the lecture’s content, which addressed the impact of the family environment, social relationships, economic pressures, and media, in addition to the insights presented by Mr. Haider Al-Baseer, which contribute to building a balanced personality capable of making sound decisions. The College Deanship أكد أن this participation comes within its ongoing approach to supporting awareness activities that contribute to preparing a conscious and responsible generation capable of actively serving society.
