Under the patronage of the Imam Hussein Shrine General Secretariat, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and the leadership of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Khafaji, the College organized its First Student Scientific Conference in collaboration with the Student Activities Department and the Media and Government Communication Department, under the theme “Young Minds Shaping the Future.”
The conference witnessed distinguished academic participation, with its sessions dedicated to showcasing outstanding research projects presented by fourth-year students. These studies addressed specialized topics in the fields of health and medical technologies, contributing to the advancement of the healthcare sector and the promotion of modern scientific applications.
In her address, the University President emphasized the institution’s commitment to supporting student research and providing a stimulating academic environment that fosters the development of students’ skills. She highlighted the importance of investing in youth potential as a cornerstone for building a promising future.
For his part, the Dean of the College underscored the significance of the conference in developing students’ research capabilities and nurturing their spirit of innovation, reaffirming the College’s ongoing support for scientific projects that contribute to the advancement of both academic and healthcare fields.
The conference sessions included discussions of research conducted by students from the Departments of Anesthesia Technologies and Radiology Technologies, featuring a range of projects and scientific ideas that reflected a high level of academic awareness and knowledge.
