Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaida Al-Mulla, and in coordination with the Continuing Education Center, the college hosted the activities of the second training workshop in collaboration with the Arab Digital Empowerment Union. The workshop, titled “Cybersecurity Career Paths,” was held in Al-Siddiqah Hall.

This workshop comes (within the framework of) the agreement concluded between the college and the Union, which aims to implement a series of training programs and specialized courses designed to enhance students’ skills in digital transformation and modern technologies, in line with the rapidly evolving labor market demands.

The workshop was delivered by trainer Shaker Mahmoud Shaker, who presented the latest trends in the field of cybersecurity and the available career paths, in addition to highlighting the essential skills required to enter this vital and fast-growing field at the global level.

This activity is part of an integrated training program extending over five weeks, with one training day per week. It includes five specialized workshops covering multiple topics, including self-learning skills, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), project preparation mechanisms, as well as training on the Linux system. This approach aims to strengthen practical skills and enhance students’ readiness to efficiently engage in the labor market.
