Dean Receives Medical Delegation from the Popular Mobilization Commission in Preparation for Providing Healthcare Services at the University Procession During the Arbaeen Pilgrimage

The Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, received a medical delegation from the Popular Mobilization Commission as part of the preparations for establishing Al-Zahraa University for Women’s procession to serve the visitors of Imam Hussein (PBUH) during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

During the meeting, discussions focused on mechanisms for cooperation and joint coordination with the Popular Mobilization Commission in providing medical and emergency healthcare services within the procession. This includes equipping medical units and first-aid stations to ensure immediate healthcare support for visitors and enhance the procession’s readiness to deliver its humanitarian services efficiently.

The Dean emphasized that this initiative reflects the spirit of solidarity and cooperation among national institutions in serving the visitors of Imam Hussein (PBUH). She praised the humanitarian and professional role undertaken by the medical personnel of the Popular Mobilization Commission and their effective contribution to supporting service and healthcare efforts during the Arbaeen pilgrimage, embodying the values of dedication, generosity, and social responsibility.
