In a display of academic excellence reflecting the competence of its faculty and their ability to represent educational institutions at national events, Ms. Omaima Kadhim Al-Tai, a lecturer in the Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering and Information Technology, participated as a judge in the finals of the 3rd Iraqi Universities Debating Championship. The championship, hosted by Al-Mustafa University in Baghdad, saw wide participation from 36 universities across the country, including Al-Zahraa University for Women.

Ms. Al-Tai's selection as the sole judge representing universities in Karbala Governorate at this national championship, held under the theme "The Debater Leads the Future," underscores her academic presence and professionalism in managing and evaluating intellectual debates. The event was organized and coordinated by the Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with joint sponsorship from the Ministry, the International Academy for Leadership and Development, and QatarDebate.
