Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiyya, the Department of Special Education, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Employment Division and the Continuing Education Center, organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled: “Contemporary Labor Market Requirements: A Roadmap to Enhancing Students’ Professional Readiness.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Abdul Amir Nafal.
The workshop highlighted the importance of aligning academic outputs with the rapidly evolving demands of modern workplaces, particularly in light of ongoing technological transformations. It addressed several contemporary strategic themes, most notably the development of digital content skills through building a strong professional digital identity and utilizing content creation tools to enhance professional presence.
In addition, the workshop focused on crisis management and critical thinking by training students in effective strategies for handling emerging challenges and developing analytical skills for informed and responsible decision-making. It also emphasized creativity and innovation, encouraging participants to adopt non-traditional problem-solving approaches and introducing modern facilitation techniques for managing teams and meetings efficiently and professionally.
This initiative represents a practical step toward empowering women both academically and professionally by equipping students with an integrated skill set that combines academic knowledge, digital competence, and innovative thinking, ensuring a smooth and effective transition into the contemporary labor market.
