The Deanship of Engineering Draws the Features of Academic Development Through a Comprehensive Strategic Plan

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Atheer Nazim Hussein, an expanded meeting was held with the heads of the scientific departments to discuss the strategic plan for developing the scientific departments and enhancing academic and administrative work paths in line with the requirements of the coming stage.

The meeting addressed several important topics, most notably the summer training program for female students and mechanisms for its development in a way that strengthens the connection between academic study and practical application. The discussion also included ways to modernize academic curricula and develop their scientific content to keep pace with recent advancements in engineering and technological specializations.

During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of teamwork and adopting well-structured plans that contribute to raising the scientific and academic level of the college. She also stressed the necessity of enhancing the educational environment and developing academic programs in accordance with the university’s vision and academic mission.

This meeting comes as part of a series of periodic gatherings aimed at supporting the process of academic and administrative development and creating an advanced educational environment that contributes to preparing qualified engineering cadres capable of meeting labor market demands and scientific progress.
