In line with the University of Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) for Women’s strategic orientation aimed at strengthening integration between academic and research dimensions and developing a supportive scientific environment for creativity and innovation, the College of Pharmacy has signed a scientific, academic, and research cooperation agreement with Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research. The agreement seeks to consolidate joint collaboration in the fields of education, training, and scientific research.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Noor Hatif Al-Dabbagh, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Prof. Dr. Lama Majid Ahmed, Director of Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research, in the presence of a number of faculty members and staff of the research center. This reflects both sides’ commitment to strengthening joint scientific and research cooperation.

The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in the preparation and implementation of joint scientific and research programs, develop the skills of students and researchers, and organize specialized training courses, workshops, and scientific seminars. It also includes the exchange of academic and research expertise between teaching staff and researchers from both sides.

Furthermore, the areas of cooperation include the utilization of laboratories, equipment, and modern technologies available to both parties, supporting student research projects, participating in the design and implementation of joint scientific studies, and contributing to the publication of research in peer-reviewed journals to enhance the quality of scientific output and advance academic research standards.

This agreement comes within the framework of the University of Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) for Women’s commitment to building effective scientific partnerships that contribute to the development of the educational and research process, and to providing an advanced academic environment that supports innovation and scientific excellence, ultimately reflecting positively on students, researchers, and community service.
