The Presidency of Al-Zahraa University (Peace Be Upon Her) for Women welcomed a delegation from the National University of Science and Technology – Dhi Qar, headed by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Al-Asadi, accompanied by a number of faculty members and academics. The visit aimed to explore the University's academic experience and the Al-Zahraa Research Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as to discuss prospects for scientific and research cooperation between the two institutions.

 

During the visit, the delegation toured the Center's laboratories, where they were introduced to its advanced infrastructure, state-of-the-art specialized laboratory equipment, and the research methodologies adopted by the Center. They were also briefed on the organizational and administrative standards governing the management of accredited research centers, including the mechanisms for developing and qualifying scientific and technical staff.

 

The delegation further visited several key facilities across the University to gain insight into its academic and scientific capabilities. Discussions focused on expanding avenues of joint scientific cooperation and exploring opportunities for future partnerships that would support research, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and promote collaborative research projects.

 

The visit reflects Al-Zahraa University (Peace Be Upon Her) for Women's ongoing commitment to advancing scientific research and strengthening collaboration with Iraqi universities and academic institutions. Such initiatives contribute to enriching the research environment, promoting knowledge exchange, and achieving shared academic and scientific objectives.
