As part of the ongoing research activities of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women, Lecturer Manal Sami Abdul Ridha has published a scientific paper in collaboration with researchers from international universities and research centers, entitled:
"Double-edged Role of Antioxidants and Oxidative Stress: Focusing on Cancer Therapy and Resistance"
The study was published in the Journal of HerbMed Pharmacology, a journal indexed in the Scopus international database.
The research investigates the dual role of antioxidants and oxidative stress in cancer therapy, highlighting their impact on the effectiveness of anticancer treatments and the development of tumor resistance to therapy. It also reviews the latest biological mechanisms involved in regulating oxidative processes within cells and explores their potential application in developing more precise and effective therapeutic strategies.
