As part of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women’s ongoing commitment to strengthening practical education and ensuring the quality of field training, Dr. Ru'aa Ali Obeid, Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants, conducted a field visit to monitor fourth- and fifth-year students during their training in community pharmacies.

The visit aimed to assess the students’ application of pharmaceutical skills, discuss both scientific and practical aspects of their training, and provide guidance and constructive feedback to enhance their professional performance and practical competencies.

During the visit, Dr. Obeid emphasized the importance of making the most of the training period by developing clinical skills, fostering effective communication with patients, and adhering to professional ethics and standards of pharmacy practice. She noted that these elements are essential for bridging academic learning with real-world professional practice.

This field visit forms part of the College’s continuous supervision program, which seeks to prepare highly qualified pharmacists equipped with both strong academic knowledge and practical expertise, enabling them to meet the evolving demands of the healthcare sector with competence and excellence.
