On the occasion of World Post Day, observed annually on October 9, commemorating the establishment of the Universal Postal Union in 1874, the 2026 theme, “One Postal Network, Infinite Possibilities,” celebrates the role of the global postal network in connecting individuals and communities and expanding opportunities for communication and services.

The College of Engineering and Information Technology emphasizes the importance of developing telecommunications infrastructure and postal services, and integrating them with modern digital technologies to improve service efficiency, foster innovation, and support sustainable development.

Amid the rapid transformations in artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital communications, the importance of leveraging technology to build more inclusive and sustainable systems continues to grow. These efforts contribute to strengthening human connections and opening new horizons for individuals, institutions, and communities around the world.
