The festival was organised by the Student Activities Department in cooperation with the Continuing Education Department and the University’s Faculties, namely the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies, and the Faculty of Education. Additionally, the said event comes as part and parcel of the activities of the Cultural Week marking the fourth anniversary of the University.
The festival aimed to support student talents, strengthen their self-confidence, and encourage them to make productive use of their free time in ways that reveal their abilities and contribute to the development of their personalities.
It is significant to point out that the said event included a number of activities, most notably the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, the Iraqi National Anthem, theatrical performances highlighting ambition and overcoming difficulties and obstacles in pursuit of success, as well as poetry recitals dedicated to Lady Zainab (peace be upon her).
The festival concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the participants.
