In support of strengthening academic cooperation among Universities, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, attended the activities of the First National Conference on Development and Advancement. The said event was held under the slogan “The Value System and Its Impact on Building and Developing Society.” The conference took place at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, 24 December 2022.
The conference was attended by a number of prominent official, religious, and academic figures, including His Eminence Al-Sheikh Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Karbala'i, the Legitimate Overseer of the Affairs of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine; Eng. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, Governor of Karbala; and Dr. Sattar Al-Sa'adi, President of the Health and Higher Education Authority, in addition to several distinguished academic and governmental representatives.
It is worth mentioning that the conference aimed to examine the current state of development and institutional advancement across the organisations affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
