Under the auspices of Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women, along with the cooperation from the House of the Noble Qur’an affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Al-Hussainia, the curriculum of the Qur’anic project was launched in universities. Privileges were allocated to memorizers of the Noble Qur’an in terms of providing them a heavy discount on their academic tuition fees according to the the number of the Juz (parts/parahs of the Quran) that are memorized by the students: Memorization of 6 parts= 20% off. Memorization of 12 parts = 40% off. Memorization of 18 parts = 60% off. Memorization of 24 parts= 80% off. – Memorization of the entire Holy Quran shall be equivalent to 100% discount. It is noteworthy that the project has received a great response from the university students and is regarded as a great initiative leading to the memorization of the Holy Quran on a large scale.
