A group of Arabic language lecturers from Al-Zahraa University for Women conducted a specialised workshop entitled “Linguistic Accuracy in Official Correspondence” at the headquarters of the Appeal Karbala Court. This four-day event comes as part and parcel of an ongoing scientific collaboration between academic institutions and the judiciary.

Additionally, Judge Ahmad Hadi Hussein, the President of the Court, his deputies, several judges, and with members of the public prosecution attended the said event. The academic team facilitated both theoretical and practical sessions aimed at improving linguistic proficiency and enhancing accuracy in legal and administrative drafting.

It bears noting that this initiative underscores the University’s commitment to transferring academic expertise to governmental institutions, contributing to the improvement of linguistic and professional standards, particularly in critical sectors such as the judiciary, where precision in language and composition is of critical importance.
