The said event was in the presence of a ministerial delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine/University Education Authority. Additionally, attendees included the ministerial delegation, presidents of public and private universities, and heads of research centres, who met with Prof. Dr. Haider Al-Tamimi, the Head of the University Education Authority, Prof. Dr. Zainab Abd Al-Hussein Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, along with Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hayawi, the President of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, .

The parties discussed the importance of enhancing joint cooperation between universities and the earnest pursuit of listing these universities within international academic rankings. Furthermore, they reviewed the latest preparations to conclude the academic year according to the approved ministerial calendar, specifically the evaluation examinations, alongside a number of pivotal issues that positively impact the continuity of ministerial support for various public and private universities.
