The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women organised a voluntary visit to Dar Al-Warith Shelter and Community Rehabilitation for Males, followed by a visit to the Female Shelter, on Sunday, 26 February 2023. Additionally, the said event comes as part and parcel of Barakat Al-Anwar Al-Muhammadiyah campaign launched by Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, and under the auspices of the Health and University Education Authority and the Presidency of Al-Zahraa University for Women.
The initiative was conducted in cooperation with the Student Activities Committee, represented by Asst. Lect. Rusul Mahdi Al-Hilu.
The visit was attended by a number of academic staff members from the Faculty of Pharmacy, together with a group of female students. During the visit, pharmaceutical guidance and medication-related advice were provided, and symbolic gifts were distributed to the children.
It is worth noting that Al-Zahraa University for Women seeks, through its voluntary initiatives, to bring smiles to children’s faces and raise their spirits.
