The Department of Radiography Techniques at Al-Zahraa University for Women organised a voluntary health campaign in the area between the Two Holy Shrines on Sunday, 26 February 2023. It is significant to point out that the said event comes as part and parcel of Barakat Al-Anwar Al-Muhammadiyah initiative launched by Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and under the auspices of the Authority for Health and Higher Education.

The campaign was accompanied by a number of female academic staff members and female students from the Department of Radiography Techniques. It targeted elderly visitors to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his brother Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The campaign included a range of health awareness activities, including measuring visitors’ blood pressure, educating them about normal blood pressure levels, and providing guidance on maintaining healthy blood pressure to reduce the risk of complications associated with hypertension.
