Translation Unit Under aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for women, Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research organized on Wednesday 4/17/2024, its scientific symposium entitled (Early Partial Diagnosis of Breast and Ovarian Cancer) presented by the director of the center, Prof. Dr. Nazer Al-Ghatrani and Lect. Dr. Jinan Niama Hadi at the University central conference hall. The symposium hosted Iraqi expatriate doctor and proton therapy oncologist, Dr. Sarah Falah Al-Hamami, who discussed the best prevention and treatment methods of the disease by proton therapy, its side effects, and how to target the affected cells alone without the treatment harm caused in treating certain types of cancer. It is notable that the symposium included the distribution of a special barcode to female students and university staff members who wish to contribute to the study and know the results of early detection of breast and ovarian cancer. The required information will be uploaded on the center’s website within the official University website.
