In a step towards scientific and academic advancement and within continuous efforts to develop advanced research projects, Al-Zahraa University for Women introduces Al-Zahraa Journal for health and Medical Sciences after the approving of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Reseach . In a question about the nature of the journal, Director of Scientific Affairs Department / Al-Zahraa University for Women and Director of Journal Edition: Prof.Dr. Ali Jaafar Al-Husseini said: The Journal is one of the introduced journals, in which, we follow all the standards and conditions imposed by the ministry, to be there a foreigner as members of the editorial board. So, we got a brilliant name of medical specialties who became part of the editorial board. In the same context, the editor-in-chief said that after fulfilling the required conditions, Al-Zahraa Journal became one of the locally recognized journals, and it is part of the series of academic journals of the Iraqi, where it was listed in the location of the Iraqi scientific journals. About the research that can be published in it, he added that: It is possible to receive research from inside and outside the university, in accordance with the conditions published on the journal’s website, to be that the research is original and not published elsewhere. He also said that It is possible that it contains articles and essays, to be that the citation rate does not increase about 30%.
