Al-Zahraa University Organizes Women's Procession as Part of the Second Arbaeen Forum
In the presence and participation of the esteemed President of Al-Zahraa University in Iraq, Prof. Dr Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, alongside the President of Al-Zahraa University in Iran, Dr. Zahraa Bakaei, as well as prominent academic and scientific figures along with women leaders, the women’s procession for Arbaeen Forum commenced today, Tuesday, 13th Safar 1445 AH. In addition, the procession began from the guests’ residence and proceeded towards Hussaini encampment. Furthermore, the event included recital of poetic verses and Hussaini slogans, expressing solidarity with Lady Zainab (PBUH) and reaffirming commitment to take the righteous path like Imam Hussein (PBUH). It is noteworthy that the procession forms part of the Arbaeen Forum academic activities, which run until the 20th of Safar, 1445 AH. The 2nd edition of the Forum is organized this year, by Al-Zahraa University in Iraq in cooperation with the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. Additionally, this event is intended to shed light on the role of women in the broader human society, particularly in the socio-political movement of Imam Hussain (PBUH). Furthermore, the Forum seeks to present and address the cause of Imam Hussain through an academic perspective, at local and international arenas alike.
