During an official visit, Prof. Dr. Zainab Abd Al-Hussein Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, met with Prof. Dr. Fakher Jabr Matar Al-Muhammadawi, Dean of Al-Kut University College, to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions. The agreement represents the ninth cooperation memorandum concluded by the University Presidency in 2022 with a number of higher education institutions.

The visit also included a tour of the University campus, during which the delegation was introduced to its academic, administrative, and service facilities, as well as its scientific and technological developments. Prof. Dr. Al-Sultani welcomed the partnership and expressed her satisfaction with the commencement of an important phase of coordination and collaboration in scientific and research fields, in addition to the exchange of academic expertise between Al-Zahraa University for Women and Al-Kut University College.

Al-Kut University College is the first private college in Wasit Governorate to be officially recognised by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Additionally, established in 2011, its campus comprises nine academic departments representing a range of specialisations.
