A delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, led by Hajj Fazil Oz, member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine, visited Beheshti University in the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran in response to a kind invitation to raise the flag of Imam Hussein, (peace be upon him), at the aforementioned university. Al-Zahraa University for Women, was represented in the delegation by Dr. Sheikh Hussein Al-Nasrawi, tutor at the Faculty of Education - Department of Language Arabic. On the sidelines of this event, the delegation held a meeting with the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sadiq Aqa Miri and his assistants, where the two parties discussed areas of joint scientific cooperation particularly ways and means of extending support by Martyr Beheshti University to universities and institutions affiliated with the Holy Shrine, especially Al-Zahraa University, The delegation also visited the National Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Studies, raised the flag of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in the courtyard of the Institute, and met with the President of the Center, Prof. Dr. Jawad Mohammadi, and a group of scientific staff members at the Center, who also expressed their readiness to do everything possible to transfer all the technology they have reached and offer it in the service of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein and Al-Zahra University, in particular. The cooperation agreement concluded between Al-Zahraa University and the afore-mentioned Center, was discussed as well. The two parties underscored the importance of activating that agreement in a way that contributes to the development of scientific research at Al-Zahraa University.
