Pharmacy Faculty Ranks First in Ministerial Evaluation
Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women has secured first place in the ministerial evaluation of the national standardized examinations for private universities for the academic year 2023–2024 (first round), as part and parcel of the assessment conducted by the Committee of Deans of Pharmacy Faculties in Iraq. Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, Al-Zahraa University President, paid tribute to the Faculty on the achievement, affirming that the University’s vision was to deliver comprehensive education to its female students. Additionally, the President underscored that the University’s vision extends beyond the awarding of academic degrees to the dissemination of knowledge in ways that contribute to the community advancement and service. Dr. Al-Sultani also extended her thanks and gratitude to the academic staff members and female students, praising their diligence and consistent efforts in elevating such leading educational institution for women. Besides, she emphasized that such scientific and practical contributions represent a significant step towards realizing the University’s ambition of establishing itself as a leading academic institution. The Faculty received an official letter of congratulations from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Prof. Dr. Mundher Faisal Mahdi, Chair of the Committee of Deans of Pharmacy Faculties, expressed his delight at the achievement. Furthermore, Dr. Mahdi extended his best wishes to the University for its ongoing support of women’s advancement, hoping for even greater success in furthering the educational mission. It is significant to point out that the afore-mentioned accomplishment marks a significant milestone, reflecting the Faculty’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and leadership in higher education and scientific research, while also reinforcing its impactful role in promoting women’s empowerment in service of the nation.
