The Continuous Education Centre in cooperation with the Training and Development Division and the Department of Dormitory Affairs, organized a specialized training course titled “The Art of Etiquette and Protocol,” presented by Mr. Shaker Badi’ Al-Laith. The event was under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, and as part of the ongoing initiatives to develop the skills and capabilities of its administrative staff.
The course aimed to equip administrative personnel with advanced communication techniques and professional conduct in formal settings and public events. It further covered the essential principles of protocol and social etiquette across various professional and social contexts. Additionally, participants were provided with practical examples of appropriate behavior during meetings, interviews, as well as official functions. The program also emphasized the development of personal skills, the enhancement of self-confidence, and the promotion of a culture of mutual respect and politeness in communication.
This training course marks a significant step forward in empowering staff to fulfill their responsibilities with professionalism, thereby enhancing the University’s image in diverse platforms. It also embodies the institution’s commitment to academic integrity and alignment with structured work principles. Furthermore, it contributes to cultivating a more cohesive work environment, improving both internal and external communication, and reinforcing the University’s ability to represent itself with competence and refined professionalism.
