As part of Iraq’s ongoing scientific and intellectual progress, and in light of the notable advancements in university libraries, Dr. Essam Khudair, Director General of Dar Al-Dhakira for Publishing and Distribution, conducted a field visit to the Central Library at Al-Zahraa University for Women. The visit aimed to explore modern models of library management and learn about the systems and technologies used in delivering academic and library services.

The visit followed the Central Library’s achievement of first place among public and private university libraries for the academic year 2023–2024. The library is considered one of the most advanced university libraries, distinguished by its modern management systems, advanced technical infrastructure, and knowledge-rich environment that supports both teaching and research.

This visit further aimed to foster collaboration with governmental and non-governmental institutions, emphasizing the importance and quality of continuous development in line with global progress in university library practices, ensuring optimal benefits for students and researchers alike.
