The Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Education, Al-Zahraa University for Women, organised a graduation ceremony for the first cohort of fourth-year female students for the 2022–2023 academic year. The ceremony was held on Wednesday, 22 March 2023, in Umm Abiha Hall.

The said event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Dr. Mohammed Kadhim Al-Ma'amouri, followed by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha and a moment of silence in honour of the martyrs of Iraq, accompanied by the Iraqi National Anthem.

Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, delivered a welcoming address in which she congratulated the female students on this significant day. This was followed by an address from Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Jaddoa, Vice President for Scientific Affairs.

The ceremony also featured a scientific lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiyah, Dean of the Faculty of Education.

The said event concluded with the honouring of the female graduates of the Department through the presentation of commemorative shields and certificates of appreciation, followed by a group photograph to mark the occasion.
