Al-Zahraa University Enhances its Humanitarian Mission through Nida’ Al-Aqsa Mawkib

A delegation from Al-Zahraa University for Women, headed by Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, visited Nida’ Al-Aqsa mawkib to express deep solidarity for the Palestinian people and to affirm support for just causes. The delegation included senior staff members at the University, affirming the academic institution’s commitment to its national and humanitarian values.

The University’s delegation was welcomed by Sheikh Youssef Abbas, General Coordinator of the Global Campaign for the Return to Palestine, and Al-Haja Amani Moussa, Executive Director of Nida’ Al-Aqsa International Conference. Additionally, the reception also included such distinguished scholars and preachers as Sheikh Abdullah Ghazawi and Sheikh Saeed Abu Na’sa from Palestine and Lebanon, as well as Sheikh Mohammed Al-Naoui from Tunisia.

During the visit, the delegation toured Nida’ Al-Aqsa exhibition, which featured a series of initiatives and programs designed to raise awareness of the Palestinian cause, empasise the rights of the Palestinian people, and affirm international solidarity with their struggle.

In her address, Prof. Al-Sultani underscored the critical role of universities in supporting the Palestinian cause. She further stressed that academic institutions must serve as platforms for disseminating national and ethical awareness, and as centres of education on the wider dimensions of the cause and its global implications.

She also called for collective efforts to support the cause through scientific, cultural, and community-based initiatives, affirming the pivotal role of universities in shaping youth awareness and instilling the values of solidarity and justice.

It bears noting that the participation of the University in this mawkib reflects its strong national and humanitarian commitment, as well as its dedication to active involvement in initiatives that promote unity and solidarity, and that amplify the voice of justice at both local and international levels. Besides, it affirmed the significance of sustained collaboration between academic and societal institutions in advancing the fundamental causes of the nation.
