His Excellency Prof. Dr. N'eem Al-Aboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has awarded Al-Zahraa University for Women a Letter of Appreciation in recognition of the significant and distinguished efforts undertaken by the University in organising and managing voluntary activities. Additionally, these efforts were characterised by precision and a high level of efficiency, reflecting a strong sense of responsibility and national commitment to serving the community.
Furthermore, the Department of Student Activities played a pivotal role in this achievement under the supervision of the Department Director, Lect. Dr. Aa'da Abboud Hussein, through her active participation in voluntary initiatives and the organisation of related events. These efforts further strengthened the University’s image and affirmed its humanitarian and community-oriented mission.
It bears noting that this recognition reflects appreciation for the University’s contributions and active role within the broader efforts of Iraqi universities, which have combined their capacities and resources to enhance their role in serving society. Besides, these collective efforts culminated in an important achievement, with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research securing first place in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers’ ranking for voluntary work.
