In celebration of the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Hasan Al-A’skari (peace be upon him), the Department of dormitory affairs, in collaboration with the Department of Media and Government Communications, organized the First Student Cultural Festival to welcome advanced-stage female students. The event was held under the auspicious of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and under the supervision of Asst. Lect. Ameera Abbas Al-Aamiri, Director of the Department of dormitory affairs. The festival was held under the Motto: “A Symbol of Giving Despite Constraints.”
The festival aimed to strengthen the spirit of unity among female students, foster communication and connection, and highlight the cultural and ethical values that the University seeks to instill in its students reinforcing their active role in academic and social life.
In her address, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani welcomed the students, affirming that the event reflects the University’s commitment to nurturing and empowering its students, while congratulating them on the start of the new academic year. She extended her wishes for continued success and academic excellence and praised the effective role of the participating departments, expressing her appreciation for the faculty and administrative staff whose efforts contributed to the success of the event.
The festival concluded with the University reaffirming its commitment to continuing such cultural and social initiatives, which enhance students’ sense of belonging and responsibility, provide opportunities for creative and academic growth, and reflect Al-Zahraa University’s dedication to excellence and leadership in advancing both the educational and cultural mission within the academic community.
