Under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and the supervision of Asst. Lect. Manal Abd Al-Ameer, Head of the Women’s Affairs Division, the University held a scientific workshop entitled “Legal Protection for Working Women.” The event was organized in cooperation with Engineering and Information Technology Faculty and Continuous Education Centre and was led by an Asst. Prof. Dr. Ishraq Sabah Sahib. The workshop explored key legal rights of women in the workplace and strategies to enhance legal awareness among female employees, with a particular focus on the importance of legal and institutional empowerment to ensure fair and equitable working environments. This event is part of a broader series of awareness and support initiatives led by the University, aimed at fostering legal and professional literacy among its female students and staff, in alignment with its mission to empower women and cultivate a conscious and cohesive academic community.
