The session also introduced practical steps for setting goals effectively using the SMART framework, reinforcing that success is born not of chance, but of awareness, determination, as well as persistence. This workshop is part of an ongoing series of guidance and awareness sessions organized by the Faculty throughout the academic year to ensure a holistic educational experience that integrates academic learning with cultural and ethical development. Additionally, using the basil plant as a symbolic representation of women, the session explored educational and moral concepts, emphasizing that ethics are the foundation of excellence in both academic and professional life. Engineering and Information Technology Faculty in cooperation with the Continuous Education Center held a guidance workshop entitled “Because You Basil” led by lecturer Amina Nahidh. The said event was under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ghaida’ Abd Al-Hussein Al-Mulla, Dean of the Faculty.
